Broad-billed Motmot (Electron platyrhynchum) subadult

Arenal Hanging Bridges, Arenal, Costa Rica

A poor image of a subadult taken in deep shade. This is my only image of this species but due to the strong contrast in light (& my incompetence!) the shot was badly underexposed hence the noise artefact from Photoshop compensation!
