After we left Sportsmobile we tried to find camping in the Central Valley, which was a big waste of time. We ended up in a motel at Stockton, and on Wednesday, we headed north towards Oregon. Since we were headed for eastern Oregon, and I like trains, we cut through the Feather River canyon on our way north.
