Some of the spectacular trees in the Makuleia Bay area (part of the Mokuleia Marine Life Conservation District). We stopped her for some quick snorkeling. The fauna under the water was great, but it turned out that the short walk to the beach from the road was almost better. While most of this area of Maui (Northernmost coast) is pretty dry this little valley had quite a moist microclimate and the trees were spectacular.
