Been out of town and unable to post for a couple of weeks (& might double dip a bit before the month is over)...
A little pool of water downstream from Great Falls on the Potomac River. The water is "clean", what you see is naturally occurring bio-goop and not pollution of any sort.
BTW - other than the crop&frame, this is straight from the camera - the colors were amazing.
