This is the camera that SPU newbee Alex used in our most
recent Meet-Up. I'm anxious to see how his images came out
altho I may have to wait til the next meet-up if he can't find
a way to upload them online. I love the lens reflections here ~
Sure makes me miss my Z6 tho, darnnit...

Sure did enjoy my old Minolta XG-M, but don't miss the waiting to get the prints and slides back. Very nice shot of the 'antique'; crisp and clear.
Best regards,
Dick:)

I wish I had all the money I spent on film cameras and lenses. Nice shot Colleen. I like the purple reflection in the lens. Clever girl you.

Nope, like Scott, I don't miss film at all. My first camera was a Minolta SRT 101 from back in the 60's.....wish I still had it though!

What is film? Is that like 8 track tapes and records?

Developing was a pain, but I did get some nice stuff from my old girl.

I have one of these from my newspaper days. It took the very best photos and I must get it out again. We've all gotten spoiled with digital cameras and I think have lost some of our photographic sense because a digital camera does too much for us.

I don't miss all of the waiting and $$$ for film and developing. I still keep about three film bodies :)

It's almost identical to my XG-7, my first SLR.
