Red Jumper

Simi, CA

This one is for Tom, who's got a killer close-up of a
jumper in his gallery today! I had never seen a jumper
with a red bootie before, and so I was determined to
get a good one of him; unfortunately, he kept jumping
onto my camera making a good shot almost impossible!

You inspire me, Tom, keep your incredible images coming, Bud!

Phidippus clarus, I'd imagine with the bright color. This is awesome shot, you've done
great! Now that the bug's biten you (sorry, bad pun) I'll hope you find more. These are such fun to shoot, they become habit forming. Hope you find another spirited one tho', they really have hudge personality differences. Now fess up, did it scare you? ;-)
