Little House on the Prairie

Lake Casitas, CA

I often think I should've been born in the days of Little House...
I feel right at home with scenes such as this. All around the Lake
Casitas/Ojai area, this is the "norm"~ so much better than the zoo.

"Charles? Call Laura (purpod) in to wash up for supper..." (tee-hee)


P.S. Yes, that enormous oak was really that green ~ no
PhotoChopping 'cept resize/framing was done to this shot.

Wonderful composition and colors. BTW "Little House on the Prairie" was located in Walnut Grove, Minnesota--of which they're still quite proud. However the series lasted longer than the Ingalls lasted in Walnut Grove. (It wasn't the weather that drove them away as they moved several places in Minnesota and the Dakotas.)

Beautiful composition with the flower in the foreground and the focal point on that grand old oak. I'd have loved to lived back then except for having to use a johnnyhouse. :) V.
