I raise rats to feed to my snakes, but I do keep a couple as pets too.
We saved a lil' black runt, & she was soo small, we named her Mini, as
in miniature. Well, Boog conned me into keeping another one, this one
a light beige colour. And since we already had "Minnie Mouse", we came
up with "Mickie" as a name for the new roomie. In a 3 level condo, they
both have a good life, with no worries about the neighbors eating them ~
