Lady & Bud

Simi, CA

* 3-23-06 *

I got to play today! In the yard for a bit this morning with
Sanders as my friendly companion, I did some weeding & saw one
of the many "ladybirds" that inhabit our yard ~ I sharpened in
Paint Shop Pro 7, then added a homemade frame using the colours
from the flowers in the background & also from the Lady ~

Both so fragile yet so strong ~

I was blown away with all of the extremely wonderful comments & votes from
yesterday's Purpod Abstract Tears, I just can't thank you all enough for the very
kind words ~ I'm glad you enjoyed the small capture of my Purpod World ~ Colleen

Beautiful macro Colleen but I wished you hadn't mentioned weeding. This year or next the garden gets it with either the riding mower or the Round Up.

.. secretly wondering if anyone notices the orange flower reflected in the Lady's shell or is my mind so far gone that I'm just "seeing" things ..? Shoot, I think I even see myself; the darker shadow behind the orange flower ~ LMBO ~ An SP on a Ladybird's back! Oh Yeah! If I had noticed it B4, I would've made it the PaD for today! 8^S
