It was probably our most beautiful day in the mountains and the morning light was gorgeous. We paused to admire the view and take a picture on the way down from the Red Buttress. There was a freeze during the night and the snow was nice and hard. Lisa taught us some crampon techniques and it was nice not to have to worry about snow balling up and having to whack our crampons each step with our ice axe to knock out the snow. The morning light on the hard snow was really sparkly and it looked like somebody had sprinkled glitter everywhere.
