The Castle Trail, which is the longest maintained trail in Badlands National Park (~ 6 miles one way), also left from The Windows Parking Lot. Hiking the Castle Trail was my main objective for the day, as it really gets you into the Badlands Backcountry to see the wonderful variety of badlands formations.
