Brume de mer.

"Brume de mer" occurs when it is so cold that mist rises from the water. Hoar frost often accompanies it, but there are no macro pictures this time: too darn cold to hold the camera steady enough!! It is very cold when it happens, but usually also very bright and sunny, so it is very beautiful and worth the pain in the fingers to shoot.

Nikon D200
1/750s f/14.0 at 24.0mm iso200 full exif

other sizes: small medium original auto

We've finally come out of -25C temps and got up to -5C today. Finally warm enough to at least take OscarDog out. Hope the warmer weather reaches you as well. Fine job with the photo!
