Thank you, C. Actually squirrels stand verrry still when they notice you, as a matter of defense. They try not to move so you won't see them. That's when you can snap their picture... just have to be patient. I use a telephoto lens to get these closeup shots, so I can be some distance away and not scare them off completely.

I'm new to photo taking especially squirrels. We have a park nearby, it's hard to make them stand still. Love your photos, very enjoyable.
