Quiet River

Farmington Hills, Michigan. The Rouge River has a total of 126 river miles and includes 48 municipalities in three counties in Michigan.
The mallard suddenly appeared and was swimming toward the bridge I was standing on.

I haven't been homesick for Michigan in a long, long, time; but this image just did it, Jay. Wow, this is so beautiful. Perfect lighting and composition on this wonderful scene. (My Dad used to take on ice-skating on the Rouge River) Vote.

I love the brownish overall tone to this pleasing view of the stream of woodland water, it reminds me very much of our local woods in its Autumn colours. Lovely shot Jay. +V
