Answer to yesterday's riddle of how many were going to St. Ives:
The traditional answer is only one person: the narrator. This answer is based on the assumption that the narrator, while heading to St. Ives,
met the large party going away from St. Ives. Since he did not overtake but met the others, the kits, cats, sacks, and wives must
have been coming from St. Ives. Congratulations to Jess, Janet, and implicitly Tricia, for their astuteness.
