In the Wetaskiwin Recreation grounds is the civic centre is the main attractions. Wetaskiwin has great figure skating clubs and a excellent hockey program held here. A lot of events are held here year round. It is the home of Wetaskiwins Hall of fame for sports. Attached is the drill hall which can host large events holding over a 1000 people. It there are any kind of sports events, it is held in the recreation grounds.
