This is an old section of the city...south of 50th.ave and 49st. Some of these buildings have had so many face lifts its funny there still standing...They still have a lot of character if you know the history...From right to left..The Club Cafe still has the same name, just a few face lifts, the Moose Lodge Hall which still being rented out and is really nice inside, Geurtsen Upholstery was once a restraurant, Mikes Western which was once Kirsteins Meat Locker,Next Lars Lichens Appliance repairs and sales then Dan Chafee did repairs as well Bill Boychuk, now loans. Next was a sign paint shop and not sure before that now Doug's Mercantile, on the corner was the Coop furniture, then Penny Land Furniture and now second hand store. There is probably more owners on these building, but this is what I can remember.
