his corner store { 49st. and 50th ave.} is on the east side of the tracks..It is now a paint shop and blind store... Now Hanson's Paint & Decor. It used to be in red brick..The original was called Aboussafy Hardware Store ran and owned by Joe Aboussafy.. The family ran another Store on Main street which had three business in it... The Aboussafy Centre {swimming pool} was named after him. Where the blind store is beside was called the Bright Spot Cafe.Joe had his little office in the back. I can remember as a kid the sit up counters and booths "orange crush in the brown bottle with a straw". I still think young... i
