First trial at doing fireworks.. Went over other pbaser's setting and worked on my own... only regret is that I was a way to close to catch them the way I wanted to. Next time if possible I will take a better look the background and the distance. You can always crop a little. A must are a few things...tripod, cable release, flashlight, reading glasses, pre-shoot the sky before for light and focus...{Manual} and around infinity. That's starters...
