15052007 rain in May

It's been very rainy here this week and Dad has found it impossible to get any decent photos of me
apart from boring sofa shots. He hasn't even been able to photograph me with Pheasant II because
after last Saturday's excitement of filming the "Doctor Pooch" episode (see previous blog entry),
Pheasant II unfortunately did not come through unscathed... An over-enthusiastic tug of war split
poor Pheasant II's belly and a lot of his stuffing flew out. Dad has promised me that Pheasant,
like Doctor Who, can regenerate so I am keeping a look-out for Pheasant III to appear! In the
meantime, here's another pic of me enjoying the bluebell woods a couple of weeks ago.

(dad: I've been very busy at work and have not been able to comment, will try to make up for it in
the next few days.)

Fantastic photo, Ev. I love the symmetry and depth. Like a Weston in color. Well, like a Weston in color with a Westie in the foreground :)

Pooch, you look very lovely among the bluebells!

Sorry to hear about your latest incident! I hope that dad is right about the resurection (or was that regeneration...lol) of poor pheasant.

Thanks for your comment. However the leash is part of Pooch's life, therefore part of his blog. We believe in being honest.

A wonderful shot but have you thought about cloning out the leash? I find it draws my eye away from the dog and off the page. I love the dog and the shallow DOF.

Great, colorful path to walk on.
Doctor Who can fix anything.

I'll swap places with you for a few days Pooch, you can have our balmy autumn days and I can look at beautiful (wet) bluebells.

I'd love to walk that pathway with those pretty bluebells Pooch, you take a
very handsome photo surrounded by all that blue! Sorry to hear about
poor pheasant - we had a disaster this morning too, stuffing everywhere :o(
