03092005 backwards facing ears

Us westies have this mission in life. To know everything about everyone around us.
That means I have evolved with ears that can move. Dad's can't move. Mine can
move backwards. So I might be facing in the direction of travel, but I can still
hear what Mum mutters about Dad as she gets stung by nettles in the line of photographic duty.

(dad: thanks for all your kind messages yesterday, much appreciated by all three of us!)

Pooch, good thing you have those ears, then you can take care of mum (and dad, of course, when he's behind in nettles ;-))
Great composition and beautiful black and white here!

What a magnificent tree (or are they trees?) to be sitting
under while you wait for Mum to take the photo!

This really converted nicely to BW. Right on, Pooch ;)

I think it is good that we humans can not do this.

Looks like you've also got your sights set on something just beyond that branch!

Now let me see you put your paws over them...your much to young to hear such mutterings :>) Ouch, nettles, one of the worst stings I can remember as a child.
