18th June 2018

Well, this is rather strange. We're still trying to identify the mystery rose in our garden.
The first few blooms were more of a cream/ apricot colour, with pink and yellow buds.
The bud photographed by my wife today (with two different cameras, to be sure) had no pink, and the flower was definitely yellow!
Perhaps we should name it ourselves. Any suggestions? ;-)

What a beautiful rose! Wish I could come up with a name suggestion....

They are both very beautiful roses, almost twins but not quite. The one on the left looks like a rich vanilla ice cream! V

Fascinating. I wonder if it's the amount of sunlight that the rose receives? Beautiful flower and good photos!

Both are great shots - good luck finding the name!

It has the look of an Austin and there is one called Vanessa Bell which has apricot buds opening to a pale yellow, but honestly that is just a guess on my part...it's very pretty, Ev...great photo H
