27th June 2012

Friends, this is Masterclass #3 in 'How to Persuade Dad'. It's called 'Humour Him'.
You see, it's most important to keep on the right side of Dad and to have some bonding time together.
Dad thinks that this scruffy toy duck, which is losing its squeaker and coming apart at the seams,
is a REAL duck, which he needs my help to chase and tug about whilst making growling noises.
I think it may be his sense of smell that lets him down here, if he could smell it he'd know it's not a real duck.
But in the meantime, there's always pretend!
Effectiveness rating: 10/10 - play always concludes with a b*scuit!

Dad: sorry, not a great photo - unable to post process at the moment...
laptop going into Apple hospital at the weekend for a cracked screen.

Always fun to play with the duck. Everyone wins with the biscuit.

It's an amazing fact that 'playing' results in a b*scuit, Max agrees with you 100% - and we humans all fall for it.
Love the series EV, looking forward to the next one!

You need to tell the Oz this one, he doesn't like playing with unreal ducks.
