Dad: just to reassure friends we are still in the land of the living! We had a hard-drive failure which helpfully coincided with our
having loaned our laptop to a relative at the other end of the country! Anyway, the computer has a new hard drive and seems
to be behaving itself now... so far!

Lesson #1 ~ never, ever loan your laptop to anyone (especially a relative.....)!!! Pooch is looking cuter than ever! :)

Pooch looks a bit irritated. Perhaps he feels you are mocking him? Hopefully you didn't lose anything (other than money and time) when the drive failed. Nice to see you in the land of the living! :)
