12th October 2009

We had an exciting walky yesterday evening friends! Dad managed to wrest the new 40D from Mum's hands and took loads of
photos, some of which he'll be uploading over the next few days. The days are getting shorter, which means that lots of interesting
critters are waking up and setting off just as we're out on walky! I haven't quite got the hang of this scent-tracking thing though...
I have a tendency to send the critter running or flying off in the opposite direction and then to excitedly track them in the direction
they've come from, NOT in the direction they went!

You'll never make a police dog Pooch - but I'll bet it's fun anyway.

Keep on sniffing, Pooch. Fabulous exposure with the 40D.

LOL! That is very funny but I suppose the 'old' trail has more scent.

That's the sort of thing Flossie does, must be the terrier instincts! Better make
the most of these shortening days Pooch!

Same here, I am not a fan of November - March. Too little sun.
