Today was the first time I drove over to actually see with my own eyes where the two volunteer firefighters died in the ambush on Christmas Eve morning. My eyes welled up when I got there. The massive destruction caused by the fire burning for over 7 hours is mind blowing – there really is nothing left except concrete.
