While on our walk around Durand Lake on Monday (Oct 22) we came across this Double-crested Cormorant sitting on this log drying it's wings. Surprisingly we were only about 100 feet from the bird and it never flushed even as we walked along the edge of the lake trail. Guess once it got it's wings almost dry it didn't want to sit and dry them again :-)
