Wild Weather Year Persists

Yup - snow! The way this year's weather has been it doesn't surprise me. It's 33F (~ 0C) early this morning and we had rain that changed to snow overnight along with some very strong winds off Lake Ontario. Some schools just south of Rochester are closed today due to the weather.
There are 14 foot waves on the lake this morning.
It could be worse tomorrow - welcome to my wild weather world :-)

The weather's pretty weird here, too, Patti!
Drought warning in March and now it can't stop raining!
Nice documentary image.

This seems unending, but at least you the greenery of leaves on the trees to soften the pain.

Cooler here but no snow. Wow, coming on at the end, it seems.

Your weather came across Lake Ontario and hit us early this morning with a few inches of snow turning to rain in the afternoon. So much for spring...

It's a little late for snow. We have been in the 30's and it's 83 today. Summer came fast.

None down here but it was brisk yesterday. Tell Canada to shut the door ;-)

The bright side is that you could have shoveled a few more feet of snow this year, we got lucky to some extent, but as much as I complain in the Winter about the snow, I live here due to four distinct seasons, Fall-Winter-Spring-Construction! Yep, I love the seasonal changes! :-) One of the problems of today is they are learning how to extend the construction season much, much longer! Love the tulips out there, hope they are OK but....

Mother Nature seems too be getting her last licks in before the hot weather arrives...

I was hoping you'd post snow. When we lived in Pennsylvania, the last snow of the season was on April 27. The robins were sitting on the curb, their red breast very prominent in the snow, wondering why they had returned.
