Dull and Dreary Autumn Day

We have not yet had a frost with a low of 36F (about 2C) this morning and the high temperature today was only 47F (about 9C) plus lots of wind gusts.
It's not been a great Autumn this year :-(

PS As the group Little Texas says "God Bless Texas" because the Texas Rangers just beat "The Yankees" to make it to the World Series! Yahoooooooooo :-)

Maybe a little 'dull and dreary', Patti, but still a lot of colour lurking in those trees.

However, a beautiful image.

I can relate to this. This has been the worst fall I have ever experienced, or at least the worst that I can remember. I have never experienced so many consecutive days of strong winds as I have in the last few weeks, always mixed with cold and often with rain. The leaves disappeared early this year because of the winds, not that there was much opportunity to get out to see them anyways with all the rain!

We are having a similar experience here. The colour is quite late, and only really starting to show now. This has been accompanied by much cloud and drizzling rain. I am hoping for the confluence of a little sun and a little free time this weekend.

A beautiful view despite the cool weather you're having.

Yep, we totally love our Rangers. I like this image. I love the feel to it!

I don't know what our autumn was like as we were gone for most of it! What little color is left I expect will be gone this weekend with the rain they are forecasting! I love the scene looking down the river and I see some color in there, but I'm sure a bright sun would have made it perfect! Nice job Patti!
