20080811 - Not Quite Obsolete

For the Achromatic August theme.

A blast from the past - my red filter for ye-olde-fashioned high-contrast b&w. Don't think I've even got a lens that it'll fit onto now! It's really useful for sticking over the flashgun though :)

Processing: Channel mixer using mostly the green channel and just a hint of blue. Then a slight s-curve to boost the contrast.

Canon EOS 5D ,Canon EF 100mm f/2.8 Macro USM
1/200s f/8.0 at 100.0mm iso100 full exif
