The linear actuators are non moving rods that attach to the piezo element at the right.
Plastic holders which are attached to the sensor are moved along the rod by the waves (vibration) of the piezo element.
The spring in the center of the photo provides controlled tension to the rod.
A positive propigating wave moves the holder one direction while a negative causes an opposite motion.
By modulating the amplitude and direction of the wave, any X,Y motion and speed of the sensor can be achieved with the two actuators.
The sensor IC leads are left long for heat dissapation.
