The rear cell can be removed for cleaning without a spanner.
A rubber crutch tip is pressed hard and turned, solvent may have to
be used if lacquer was used to seal the threads.

Worked on my lens by just wearing a rubber glove to have a good grip and un-screwing the rear cell by hand.
