Mark adjoining assemblies so that they can be reassembled in the exact position.
Remove three screws holding rear lens group assembly.
Remove assembly and place on clean cloth or safe place.

The rear element of my early f/1.4 is not held in by screws- the whole element is threaded-just unscrew it anti-clockwise.
