Flash Pinouts label 1088a.jpg

I have done a little. The power is easy. I think there may be a SPI serial interface so that the connector has multi functions depending on what is plugged into it.
So maybe not directly easy to pull a synch signal off as you would on a Sony/Minolta flash connector.

To study further I would rig a connector with the flash installed so you can hook up an oscilloscope to sniff for signals when the flash is fired.
An adapter would probably need an IC to emulate the SPI protocol.

Here's a possible pinout based mostly on what is there and the necessary functions with a flash. Video is possible with the five unassigned pins. Sense just indicates to the camera that something is connected.

Have you done any further testing to see about adding a sync port to trigger external flashes?
