The correct pressure and position is adjusted by grinding the end of the screw.
Use caution with the pressure. The nylon insert on the dovetail can be extruded and must be removed to restore smooth operation.
Turn the screw in with the shift dovetail centered. One half turn is all that is necessary to tighten the dovetail.
This allows the screw to be used even with the adapter shifted.
