Snow-on-the-Mountain

(Euphorbia marginata)

I have seen these wildflowers all over our area and finally
stopped to have a close look today. Discovered they are
quite lovely up close. Tomorrow, because of the name, I'm
going to try to get a photo of one with a mountain....well,
here we have hills, in the background.

Gorgeous. BTW... no, the water that flows around the Isle of Bute is warm - it comes from the Gulf Stream. That is why palm trees can grow on the island http://www.pbase.com/image/29787674 andhttp://www.pbase.com/image/29111677)

They do look like lace! You even have a model for this photo, too. Perhaps not as cute as one of your butterflies, or spiders. ;)
