The best way to get inexpensive authentic Chinese food in the S.F. Bay Area suburbs (outside of the Chinatown enclave) is to find a 99 Ranch Market. Just like the Los Angeles area, 99 Ranch Markets are always the anchor store of Chinese owned strip malls with several restaurants.
We picked this particular 99 Ranch Market from its web site, because it is next to the I-80 Freeway on our way back from Marine World. It is at the Pacific East Mall in the Easy Bay City of Richmond.
