This large late Baroque fountain was completed by Giuseppe Pannini in 1762 after its initial designer Nicola Salvi died in 1751. It features a statue of the Greek god Oceanus under a triumphal arch, with Tritons controlling winged hippocamps to pull his sea shell chariot. Above head are bas reliefs showing the origin of the fountain as the endpoint of a Roman aqueduct.
