Wooden statue of Tamon-Ten 多聞天像, the Guardian King of the North
Located in the northeast corner of the Great Buddha hall
This is one of four Edo period Guardian King 四天王 statues. Two of them were damaged in fire and only their heads survived. The two heads are displayed on a table behind this statue.
