Mountain Bike View

British Columbia

This is one of the small tunnels of the Kettle Valley Railway, circa 1914.
This Railway opened in 1915 and gradually fell into disuse. The Railway
has now been upgraded for pedestrian and cycling traffic and is part
of the Trans Canada Trail.

The valley outside of the tunnel is very hazy from smoke carried north
by wind from the U.S.A. Best wishes to all those affected by and those
fighting these fires.

Talk about the light at the end of the tunnel. Beautifully framed scene, the texture of the walls and the distant mountains keep the eyes looking everywhere but never leave the frame.
