Slaty-bellied Tesias are singing like crazy in the high mountains in the North in June/July. Anyone trying to see one well knows how hard it is.
I was there with a couple of folks and we found this nesting pair deep inside the wet montane oak forest.
I wasn't prepared to sit in a blind and the birds were incredibly fast by the nest so all I managed was this shot. Enjoy!
