Dragonfly

This might be a male Blue Dasher, but the color scheme / markings do not exactly fit the description that I have in my field identification book. Let me know if you have a better ID for this one.

HI Sam,
I really don't think this is a Blue Dasher.
A dasher should have two small, light colored bands on the front of the thorax as in this image.

I'm not familiar with dragon species in your area but will do some searches to see what I can find.
