The view from the west side of the mission, showing more of the dome behind the bell towers.
San Xavier Mission is a National Historic Landmark, and was founded as a Catholic mission by
Father Eusebio Kino in 1692. Construction of the current church began in 1783 and was
completed in 1797. It is the oldest intact European structure in Arizona.

I did clone out a mail box on the lower left that I had overlooked when composing this shot.

I really love that sky in contrast to the mission and ground colors. I like that this series is so different than the other, typical bright sunny day shots typically seen of the mission and surrounding area. Nice HDR result.
