Here's a shot from the last discharge I caught from a small storm.
This is a 10s exposure and a single discharge from the cloud. I
applied some selective desaturation to remove the yucky orange sky
glow being reflected from all of the city lights below.

Below is a short video of this storm cell that moved through the
southern edge of Tucson, as photographed from my home. The video
covers about 1/2 hour of activity condensed into less than two minutes.
