California numbered county routes are supposed to be designated with a letter and a number.
And San Bernardino county supposedly doesn't have any such routes. But this is a newly
installed sign, one of many recently installed on National Trails Highway, the old US-66.
Since this is a famous road, they decided to use just the number.
