Home Made UZI Serial Cable

The c-2100uz (UZI) Olympus camera
has the feature where you can re-map
and get rid of "Hot Pixels".
Unfortunately the cameras made for the
US market did not ship with a serial
cable. So using the connector and the cable
from an old "mouse" and the purchase of a
plug from my local Radio Shack here is my result.

To see if you have "Hot Pixels" you take a
picture with the lens cap on. It will show
as bright spots on a otherwise black exposure.

To perform this function one uses a program
available from the Yahoo 2100 user group.
Directions included.
