Horse drawn sleigh

Such a beautiful scene -- a few minutes later I was taking a picture from the sleigh, the driver had stopped to feed cattle and had laid down the reins so he had no control over the horses, the horses started up on their own and I got thrown off the sleigh as it started moving --- my forehead was a bloody mess and I had an boring and painful three hour wait for stitches. Funny (?) thing, driver had told us a bit earlier that the horses were not the best for the job since they tended to start pulling on their own. Wierdest thing -- standing there, blood all over the place, paying the guy for the ride and laughing to myself at how bizarre it was to be expected to pay for something that had caused me a reasonably serious injury. Oh well, live and learn, stay away from horses.
