I'm not sure which glacier is on the horizon here, but my best guess is Vatnajökull.

Yes, unfortunately most of these Iceland shots lose something at this resolution because there's so much lost from the textures.

This photo doesn't stand out for me, but I can see it would be an amazing place to stand. Probably better on a large screen with better colour and resolution than I have.
