2006.07.29 Unsafe brickwork (1)

Federation St, Box Hill, Melbourne, Australia

It really is unsafe, with large cracks running through the brickwork in various places. This is taken through an opening in the side wall, from a short distance. Of course there's a fence around this site, but one might happen to find a hole in the fence, or hold the camera close to the building with vvveeerrryyy loooooooong arms as, of course, I must have done. ;-)

One of the frustrations of this trip is that, thinking I would be here for only a few days, I didn't bring my tripod with me. But IS and a monopod can help a lot.

Another frustration is using the work PC for photo processing. Firstly there's the speed issue, and then there's the fact I can't really tell what the result will look like (especially the darker tones) until I get it back home to a "proper" screen.
