Scooter is the newcomer, but he seems to think he's well on
the way to dominating the household. He's checking me out.

Shilling knows there's no chance that that Scooter will be
allowed to be the boss. Unlike Scooter, she also knows that
there's no point reacting to a visitor with a camera.

UPDATE (2006.06.06) I just learned that in the end Scooter was
just too boisterous for this household, and has gone back to
his previous owner (whose little girl was delighted to see him
back again). Shilling is very pleased with this turn of events
but everybody else in the household was sorry to see Scooter go.
